Brian visits the second resort today in his series of Summer Venues for ITV1 This Morning when he hosts the This Morning outside broadcast from the beach at Great Yarmouth.

July 22^nd Friday: Brian Dowling to Host Big Brother,

Brian Dowling is thrilled to be announced as the new presenter for Big Brother 'one of the most talked about shows on TV', in its new home on Channel 5. The first show to air is Celebrity Big Brother which launches on Aug 18th directly followed by the regular edition which runs into early November.

After the announcement Brian received a constant stream of support from friends fans and celebrities and ex housemates:

Ex BB1 Housemates Nick and Anna also offered congraulations. Anna Nolan writing in the Irish Herald said..'to see him in action in the studio is impressive, he is spontaneous, professional and naturally funny. He is a huge talent waiting to burst on to the screens.

As for Brian's fellow BB pesenter of Big Brothers Bit On The Side Emma Willis he said. 'I’m really excited Emma’s on board,” “She’s such a gifted TV presenter. I’m hoping we’ll be a dream team together!

July 18^th Monday: This Morning Summer - Brighton – ITV1

Brian will be presenting a Summer series of outside broadcasts for ITV1's This Morning, from various popular holiday resorts.

On Monday July 18^th Stacey Solomon and Brian Dowling will kick off This Morning Summer with a live broadcast from Brighton Beach

They'll be joined by Imogen Thomas and Su Pollard, who will be searching for Brighton’s best Hunk In Trunks, breaking a world record, and chatting to special guest Dom Joly.

Everyone’s invited to join in the fun so head to Brighton – rain or shine! Please arrive at 10am next to the Ohso Social bar and restaurant.

This is just the start of the fun - This Morning will be travelling to the country’s biggest and best beaches all summer.

At this moment no more locations are as yet confirmed but they may include Benidorm, Blackpool, and Great Yarmouth. so keep an eye out for news of the locations.

Brian attended the Press night for the musical “Legally Blonde” at the Savoy Theatre London along with Denise Van Outen. Asked what he thought of the musical Brian replied "Amazing!!"

Brian gave the weekend run down of The Soaps this morning on the ITV1 show, breaking the news that Pat Butcher/Wicks/Beale/Evans aka Pam St Clement was leaving Eastenders after 25 years.

July 6^th Wednesday: ITV Summer Party, Notting Hill, London

Brian attended the ITV Summer party last night. The exclusive bash saw a host of ITV’s biggest names descend on North London, along with Ant and Dec, Holly Willoughby, Myleene Klass, Fearne Cotton, Fiona Phillips, Jenni Falconer and Dancing On Ice stars Emma Bunton, Chloe Madeley, Elen Rivas and Denise Welch.

Piers Morgan also made an appearance with his pregnant wife Celia Walden. He was joined by his former Britain's Got Talent colleague Amanda Holden and his replacement on the show Michael McIntyre.

June 18^th Saturday: Wedding of Pippa and Brian

Brian was usher at the wedding of his showbiz friends Pippa O'Connor and Brian Ormond when they married at St Patrick’s Church at Curtlestown, Co Wicklow, Ireland on Saturday. The couple were joined at their wedding reception at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, by over 300 guests including Irish soccer star Robbie Keane, 30 and his model wife Claudine Palmer, 27, model boss Andrea Roche, 33, and her boyfriend Rob White, 34.

Also in attendance were former Miss World winner Rosanna Davison, 27 and her boyfriend millionaire heir Wesley Quirke, 28, model Karen Fitzpatrick, TV presenter and model Avril Kelly, and Sky TV presenter Louise Loughman and her husband, property mogul Stephen Byrne.

June 16^th Thursday: This Morning ITV1

Brian is once again a guest on This Morning, this time he is giving his views on Celebrity Holiday hotspots.

"We want to dress like them, eat like them and look like them, so it's only logical that we want to holiday like a celeb as well!
Travel expert Brian Dowling has been scouring the world wide web to show us the best deals for the most glamourous holiday destinations across the globe - and if you're lucky you might even bump into one of the superstars by the sun loungers!

Brian co hosts the ITV2 Soap Awards after show party along with Sheree Murphy and Joe Swash, where he chats to all the winners and gets some back stage gossip from the stars of the soaps. The British Soap Awards 2011 is one of the most glitzy and glamorous awards night in the showbiz calendar and as always the stars dressed in their finest to attend their premier event of the year.

After huge praise for his work last year Brian has once again been asked to host the very prestigious Miss Universe GB at that International Conference Centre, Birmingham, on Sunday 1^st May 2011

The event sees 50 regional finalists from England, Scotland and Wales compete for the coveted title of Miss Universe GB, where they will be judged by a panel from the world of fashion and celebrity.

The new beauty queen, Miss Universe GB 2011 will represent The United Kingdom in Miss Universe 2011 competition, an event that is owned by Mr Donald Trump.

April 3^rd Sunday: Credit Union of Ireland School Quiz. National Final

Ultimate Big Brother champion Brian Dowling joined the Irish League of Credit Unions yesterday (Sunday 3rd April 2011) (ILCU) at the RDS in Dublin to host the special 20th Anniversary Credit Union All Ireland Schools Quiz. Over 400 primary school children from across the country competed for the national title.

The annual event, now in its 20th year, was run throughout the winter months in communities all over Ireland by volunteers from ILCU affiliated credit unions. The Quiz has become the highlight of the school calendar, attracting over 25,000 participants in over 300 venues throughout the 32 counties in the lead up to the national finals.

Speaking at the event, Quiz Master Brian Dowling said: Everyone, including me, had so much fun yesterday! The RDS was packed and you could see that all of the teams had been working really hard to prepare for this. It was really exciting being involved in the Quiz, I enjoyed every minute of it!

April 2011: Race for Life video.

To celebrate a decade of support for Tesco and Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, Tesco has teamed up with a host of famous faces to encourage one million women to sign up to this year’s event series.

An inspiring video, starring Race for Life ambassador Paula Radcliffe and celebrity supporters Kate Walsh, Linda Barker, Jeff Brazier, Brian Dowling, Nell McAndrew and Fay Ripley has been released today to spur on as many women as possible to walk, jog or run 5k at their local Race for Life event.

Brian becomes the voice of the Irish Just-eat TV Adverts.

"We decided to camp it up a little and bring a bit of celebrity glam into our lives by using Ultimate Big Brother Champion Brian Dowling. Having been present at the recording of the voice-over I have to say that Brian was absolutely brilliant. As well as being very funny, he had no issue in doing everything we asked of him. It was a pleasure working with him.

Just-Eat.ie's TV adverts will be transmitted from Friday 25th February 2011 and will air on numerous networks including RTE, TV3, E4, Sky Group, Universal and Setanta. Look out for them hitting a screen near you!"

January 31^st Monday: Galway Bay FM Radio Ireland Night-Time with Alan Murphy. Brian chatted by phone from the UK, discussing him presenting at the NTA's after party, kissing Davina and his Bond Street suit. His second series of Wagons' Den, RTÉ Two, that begins in March, and his show this week on TV3 Driving Me Crazy.

January 24^th Monday: Brian is featured in 4 magazines this week. In New magazine he was featured in the Good Cop/Bad Cop interrogation.. In Now magazine he answered fans questions in Back Chat. The Star features Brian in a sixty second Q&A section, and Closer Magazine a small piece on Brian's Wish List. All the articles feature pictures of Brian.

 

January 24^th to February 4^th Live From Studio Five Brian begins a two week run of presenting the C5 evening show with Kate Walsh.

 

January 7^th Friday: Brian chats to Karen Costa from TV 3 Xpose backstage at the Tivoli Theatre about his role as Bridie Gaga in Beauty & The Beast.

 

January 2011 to December 2011: Brian Dowling begins another year of Adverts for Closer Magazine.

“This week, Bauer Media's Closer magazine launches a new nationwide TV campaign.The new 10-second ad was created by Closer's creative agency Team Saatchi. The execution expands images from each issue, moving between stories through rays of 'Closer' pink light. Ultimate Big Brother winner Brian Dowling will be the voice of the campaign, as he has been with previous Closer marketing activity.

Nicky Holt, Publisher of Closer, commented: "This is a punchy and eyecatching campaign created to remind readers that Closer is unrivalled in providing the best and most original celeb, fashion and real life content in the market - week in, week out."

December 14^th Tuesday: Brian starts his run in the pantomime Beauty and the Beast at the Tivoli Theatre, Dublin. Brian revives his popular character Bridie from last year’s panto Cinderella, this time in the guise of Bridie Gaga! Brian appears alongside Alan Hughes, Michelle McGrath, John Lovett and many more stars. The run ends on Sunday 16^th January 2011.

December 10^th Friday: TV3 - Ireland - Ireland AM – Brian is a guest, talking about the panto, Beauty and the Beast. Link: LINK

December 6^th Monday: TV3 - Ireland - Brian makes another guest appearance on The Apprentice – You’re Fired the show where Anton Savage is joined by a panel of celebrities, captains of industry, journalists and broadcasters, who'll interrogate the fired apprentice in front of a live audience.

December 4^th Saturday: Brian is a pundit on the E4 show 50 Greatest Plastic Surgery Shockers: A countdown of the 50 most dramatic cases of plastic surgery, featuring the rich, the famous and weird devotees of cosmetic procedures from around the world.

December 1^st Wednesday: Today is a very busy day for Brian. He started the day by appearing on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM Dublin. LINK

It was then on to two more Radio Shows for Brian: Newstalk ie and The Moncrieff Show.

Finally, Brian was a guest on RTE2's Elev8, where he spoke to the regular presenters Ivan and Diana about his forthcoming appearance in the Panto, Beauty and the Beast.

November 30^th Tuesday:  Brian launches the Coca Cola Christmas Designated Driver Campaign. In its 7th year Brian was chosen to launch the campaign in both Dublin and Belfast on the same day. 

The campaign, which runs for the entire month of December, offers designated drivers FREE soft drinks, juice and bottled water over the course of the festive season.

November 26^th Friday: Brian is a guest on RTÉ One The Daily Show.

November 24^th Wednesday: The first publicity pictures are released for Brian’s panto: Beauty & the Beast. Which starts it’s run on 14th December. Brian is playing the part or Bridie Gaga.

November 10^th Wednesday: Xpose TV3 Brian attends the launch of  Lisa Fitzpatrick's new book, Enjoying Style and Fashion. VIDEO   

November 5^th Friday: Brian attended the Firework Display on Clapham Common.

November 4^th Thursday:   Brian attended The fifth annual Stonewall Awards took place on at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The event was hosted by comedian Sue Perkins and attended by more than 450 people including celebrities, politicians, sports people and writers. The event celebrated those who have made a positive impact on the lives of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in 2010.

Brian also made a short video clip at the event in support of Stonewall’s “It Gets Better” campaign.
