Since winning Big Brother Series 2 in 2001 Brian has never looked back - going on to become an established TV/Radio presenter, voice over artist, corporate host and Panto star. Still universally loved, Brian was voted 'The Nation's Favourite Big Brother Housemate Ever 'by the public in 2005 2007.' In 2010 Brian received the supreme accolade of being voted the fans No1 housemate in C4's last series "Ultimate Big Brother".
Brian would like to thank everyone for their unconditional support over the years, saying he has 'the most amazing and loyal fans in the world'.
Brian has once again be voted The Best BB Winner Ever by fans on the C4 BB Forum. Eight years on Brian is still rightly regarded as the fans favourite Big Brother winner for his entertainment and shear likability. Fans would love to see Brian return to the Big Brother house shown by the number of recent messages to Brian's Facebook.
Brian has already been a guest on Big Brothers Big Mouth on Friday 3rd of July where he made a insightful contribution to the debates of the evening. He is expected to appear again on the show before the series ends.

Brian was interviewed on the BBC Breakfast TV show along with Professor Chris Thompson, a clinical psychiatrist, to discuss whether producers have a greater responsibility towards reality TV contestants in the case of Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent.
Brian talks about the aftercare he received after winning Big Brother in 2001 and his continued popularity.
Brian has one again been crowned the nation's favourite BB Winner in a recent poll run by Heat Magazine and announced in today's issue of the magazine. Brian held the top slot last time a poll was held in 2007 and eight years on from winning Big Brother 2 in 2001 he still remains the nation's favourite winning housemate.
Brian topped the poll with 29.5 per cent of the votes, Pete Bennett the 2007 winner came in second place with 17.5 per cent closely followed by Essex boy Brian Belo the 2008 winner who polled 15 per cent of the vote. Nadia Almada BB5, the first BB winner Craig Philips, Kate Lawler BB3, Anthony Hutton BB6 and last year's champion Rachel Rice came in at fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth places respectively. Cameron Stout BB4 was the least popular housemate with 1.5 per cent of the votes.
Brian is thrilled to win this latest accolade as it is now eight years since he won the show, and would like to send a huge thanks to everyone who voted for him.

Brian was filming today as part of one of the teams in the Big Brother's Big Quiz show hosted by Davina that goes out next Friday May29th on E4 at 10pm.
It was suggested that around 40 Ex Housemates were attending the event but a limited number were actually involved in the teams. The teams consisted of Brian Dowling with Jamelia, Brian Belo with Jason Manford, Nikki with Jack Whitehall, and Luke with Ulrika.
The quiz featured rounds such as guess the celebrity, and what happened next, and at the end of each round the team with the lowest score was eliminated.
Other Ex housemates at the recording were Nadia, Chanelle, Craig Phillip, Charley, Nick Bateman, Derek, Eugene, Ahmed, Silvia, Gerry, Shabnam, Samanda, Rex, Dale, Kemal, Derek, Mario and Lisa, Carole, Pete, Mikey, Makosi, Bex, Glyn, Jon Tickle, Chanelle, Kathreya, Jonty, and Narinder.
The programme is repeated on Channel 4 on June 3rd at 11.05pm
Brian is attending the TVNow Awards this Saturday 18th April, 2009, at a star-studded black-tie ceremony in Dublin's Mansion House. The event hosted by Lorraine Keane will honour the best presenters and shows on Irish television with cast members from the British popular soaps travelling over for the event. The event goes out on Ireland's TV3 on Sunday 19th April 10pm -11pm.
Brian has been asked to once again host Heat Radio's celebrity show "Hot or Not".
His first of seven shows goes out on Monday March 16th, then he has a further 6 weeks run from the end of March while regular host Andi Peters is away with the Dancing on Ice tour. (exact dates to be confirmed)
Brian is thrilled to be presenting the show once again as he loves the format.

Brian attended the VIP style awards at Shelbourne House Dublin on Friday March 6th.
The VIP style awards are said to be the most glamorous awards in the Irish calendar with invites very much sought after.
Brian was thrilled to be nominated in the Most Stylish Male category.

The winner of the category for Most Stylish Male on the night went the Nicky Byrne of Westlife.
Following on from his appearance two weeks ago Brian has one again been a guest on The Mooney Show. Besides being in the studio it followed Brian on his night out looking for a date. He spent the evening at Dublin's Panti Bar, where he took part in a crafts evening. The theme was Love and Romance, and people had to make something appropriate whilst getting to know one another.
