Brian is one of the celebrities taking part in the big new ITV1 show 'Celebrities Under Pressure' hosted by Melanie Sykes.

The format of the show seems to be how a celebritiy will fair going to live with ordinary families for a week. The celebrity is given a task to master, and makes a video diary of what happens. They then return to the studio to perform a challenge. Each celebrity will have just one chance to get their challenge right in order to win a prize for their adopted family. One wrong move, one memory lapse, one slip and it could result in the families going home with absolutely nothing.

Brian filmed his episode in Manchester on Friday, having stayed with a family for 3 days two weeks ago.

The show goes out on September 13th, at 6pm.

Brian has filmed an interview for a show going out on the Bravo network in the USA. It is a series all about reality TV around the world, and he filmed it down at SM:tv a few months ago. At the moment it doesn't seem that it will be shown in the UK, but Bravo say that may change in the future.

Once again Brian returns to our TV screens in SM:tv Gold. The series begins in October, and will feature clips from the last 5 years of SM:tv.

The archive material will feature all the best sketches from the last 5 years of SM:tv: therefore Brian and Tess will feature along with the other past presenters.

The site officially launched on 14th February 2003, and has since had a total of 436,397 accesses and 35,700 hits. In our two fantastic galleries, we have over 1,600 pictures, with nearly 1400 comments and 57,400 picture views.

Despite the catastrophic early loss of our message board, in which we lost all of our 85 members, and the 1800 posts they had made, we have now had over 3200 posts from our 111 members. The showing of BB2 in Finland has brought us some lovely new friends, and the site continues to grow, evolve and thrive.

For anyone who missed it, ‘Flugtag’, shown on ITV1 today, was 30 minutes of laughs. The show highlighted the 40 finalists who had attempted to invent a flying machine. Most failed miserably, but you had to admire their efforts. The fun was definitely in the taking part!!

Brian and Tess did a brilliant job presenting the show in front of an audience of about 150,000 people in Hyde Park, London. It was a real team effort and they held the whole thing together brilliantly. It couldn’t have been easy fronting such a huge event to an outside audience on a scorching hot day so well done to both Brian and Tess.

It was reported in today's Daily Mirror that Tess says she has asked Brian to be an Usher at her forthcoming wedding to Vernon, which take place next month in Bolton. An excited Brian said "It's going to be amazing."




Tess and Vernon have not gone down the route of selling out their wedding to a magazine, and will pose up after the wedding for any photographers who are there.

Brian attended the Premiere of American Pie 3 - American Wedding, with Tess Daly and Orla O'Rourke, at the Odeon Covent Garden.
