WELCOME!
Welcome to Absolutely
Brian,
the official website of TV presenter Brian Dowling!
Since winning Big Brother Series 2 in 2001 Brian has never looked back - going on to become an established TV/Radio presenter, voice over artist, corporate host and Panto star. Still universally loved, Brian was voted 'The Nation's Favourite Big Brother Housemate Ever 'by the public in 2005 2007.' In 2010 Brian received the supreme accolade of being voted the fans No1 housemate in C4's last series "Ultimate Big Brother".
Brian would like to thank everyone for their unconditional support over the years, saying he has 'the most amazing and loyal fans in the world'.
In the run up to BB6, E4 will be screening two 60 minute programmes featuring the top 20 Housemates as voted by Big Brother fans. The Channel 4 website is running a poll for votes with a resumé of all past BB housemates.
Brian's reads...
'Brian Dowling The undoubted winner of Big Brother 2. This hilariously camp cabin crew supervisor was a smash hit on the show. Constantly keeping everyone's spirits up by dancing and joking Brian went on to become a successful TV presenter.'
Of course Brian will be a very popular choice amongst the voting, but we shouldn't just take it for granted that he will automatically do well. Therefore, we must all do our bit by voting for Brian.
As with the BB50BB shows last year, it appears that past housemates are going to be contributing to the show and we now know that Brian has been to film his slots to be featured on it. We will update the news as soon as we hear the dates for the airing of the shows on E4.
Brian was the celebrity auctioneer at the recent 'Ray of Light' fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Relief which took place on Easter Sunday at Popstarz. The latest figure we have of the money raised from the event is £5,077, with further monies pledged still rolling in!
The Auction itself conducted by Brian, ably assisted by Antony Cotton, raised a huge amount of money, and featured a year’s free entry to Popstarz and Ghetto (raising £430) and a signed picture of Madonna going to a well-known club promoter for £300.
The evening also featured a number of live acts, included Princess Julia raging down the mic with her version of ’This Is Not A Love Song‘ and Siobhan Fahey raising the roof with her new electro-dance track ’Pulsatron‘ and a revamped electro-rock version of Bananarama’s ’Venus‘.
We at Absolutely Brian are pleased to be able to display a number of pictures taken of Brian at the event, courtesy of photographer Gordon Rainsford and they can be viewed in our GALLERY

Please vote for Song 1 on Saturday evening and let's see some real talent represent us this year. Much love, Brian x
Brian is to be the narrator for LIVINGtv's new series Trolley Dollies, which hits the screen nightly from March 21st at 7pm. The series runs for 20 episodes, and who better to narrate the show than one of the most famous ex Trolley Dollies in the world.
Trolley Dollies
Other airport series are content with following the ground staff and passengers – but not Trolley Dollies. With unlimited access to the cabin crew and their lives before, during and after long haul flights, this brand new commission offers a fascinating insight from the ‘beyond the runway’. From drunk passengers and nasty threats, the dynamics between crew and passengers (from fury to flirting), and of course, the often complex relationships between the crew themselves… And all in the space of a nine hour flight to LA! : LIVINGtv
